
Migrating to CCH Signatures
FOR STAFF
The workflow for accountants and staff remains largely unchanged; you will go into the <Documents to be Signed> folder, and click to upload, as before.
Because of the increased security inherent in using eSign inside iFirm, there is no longer an option to choose “in portal signing”, all documents will be signed in portal. Also, we have done away with the need to add an access code to an envelope.
Rather than Send or Edit Tags and Send, you just click Send and the next screen allows you to click and place signature, date and/or initial fields as required.
FOR CLIENTS AND SIGNATORIES
First time signers in eSign will be asked to confirm First Name, Last Name and an optional Middle Initial.
