New Zealand Depreciation Rate Locator
The New Zealand Depreciation Rate Locator is a handy online application that helps you quickly find the information you are looking for. You can browse a list of Assets and Categories, or you can perform an open search.
There are separate locators for pre- and post-2005 Assets. Changes to the treatment of buildings post 20 May 2010 are also included.
The rate locator returns the following information for each asset, in a useful table format:
- Estimated useful life
- DV depreciation rate
- DV +20% loading (where applicable)
- SL depreciation rate
- SL +20% loading (where applicable)
